West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Hungarian attacker Roland Sollai from Bundesliga club SC Freiburg in January.
As per reputed journalist Bence Bocsak, West Ham United are readying a January move for Roland Sallai. The Hammers have not really been at their best throughout this season, and David Moyes is eyeing some much-needed reinforcements when the window opens in winter. SC Freiburg will demand €20 million to part ways with the Hungarian attacker.
Roland Sallai has not been a regular in Bundesliga. Still, his ability to offer a different kind of dynamism has attracted West Ham United. And the Hammers are believed to be considering a serious offer for the 25-year-old.
Primarily a right-winger, he can also be deployed on the other side and also operate as an attacking midfielder with the same fluency. Freiburg are looking to extract to the tune of €20 million for a player who is yet to stamp his authority on the pitch.
Having spent pretty heavily in summer, there will be very little room for West Ham in January. So they might have to offload a couple of players to make a move for Sallai. Pablo Fornals and Manuel Lanzini have not been effective and both of them might get the axe in January.

West Ham would definitely negotiate a deal for a much lower price. But a number of clubs, including Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sevilla, are also lurking around for his signature. So the Bundesliga outfit might be able to recoup €20 million for Sallai.
Bocsaik tweeted, “Many clubs are interested in Roland Sallai (25) in January. He switched agencies recently and is open to a move. Lazio, Wolverhampton, West Ham, Sevilla and Fiorentina are all possible destinations. He has 4 G/As in his last 4 Hungarian caps. Freiburg want €20m.”
Scoring goals has been a big concern as West Ham United have only managed to find the back of the net on 13 occasions. And if they are to improve their performances, they have to start scoring goals on regular occasions. West Ham have also shown interest in other attackers, including Noa Lang.
Meanwhile, Sallai is regarded as a big-game player, and his natural attacking instincts could be a big boost for the Premier League outfit. The Hungarian international has also a significant aerial presence which makes him an all-round package.
