Real Madrid will run the rule over 19-year-old Paraguayan attacking sensation Allan Wlk during the South American Under-20 Championship.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Real Madrid will scout several youngsters during the South American Under-20 Championship. And Allan Wlk is one of the prodigies to pop up on Los Blancos’ radar. The 19-year-old South American attacking sensation will represent Paraguay in the tournament.
Allan Wlk is a striker who has spent his entire youth career in his homeland thus far. The teenage wonderkid has progressed through the ranks at Club Olimpia and currently represents the outfit’s Under-23 side. The Paraguayan attacking sensation is also set to represent his country at the South American Under-20 Championship next month.
The 19-year-old’s progress at Club Olimpia has not gone unnoticed either. And the South American attacking sensation has popped up on the radar of Real Madrid. Meanwhile, the report claims that Los Blancos will run the rule over Wlk during the South American Under-20 Championship next month.
The month-long event will host some of the most promising young prodigies in South America. And Alejandro Garnacho is the top target for Real Madrid among the players set to feature in the tournament. But two other prospects have emerged on Los Blancos’ radar. One of them is Allan Wlk.
The reigning La Liga champions will see Endrick arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu in July 2024. But while the Brazilian whizkid will likely succeed Karim Benzema at Real Madrid, he might not be the only South American attacking sensation moving to the Spanish outfit. And Wlk is a viable target to replace Mariano Diaz.
The former Lyon striker will likely leave Real Madrid next year. And bringing in a youngster like Wlk might help Real Madrid groom him efficiently in the coming years. The 19-year-old Paraguayan forward can learn the ropes from Benzema before becoming Endrick’s competitor.
Meanwhile, the third player that Real Madrid will scout at the South American Under-20 Championship is Aron Sanchez. It will be interesting to see which of the three players arrive at the Bernabeu in the coming months.
