La Liga giants Sevilla will demand at least €25 million from suitors like West Ham United for Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

According to Fichajes, La Liga giants Sevilla want at least €25 million from interested clubs for Youssef En-Nesyri. West Ham United are keen on signing the Moroccan striker, as his World Cup performances have increased his overall value in the market.

Youssef En-Nesyri will come out of the World Cup with his head held high alongside many of his Moroccan teammates. The 25-year-old striker was instrumental in helping his team reach a historic semi-final berth, the first time an African nation made it this far in the grand tournament.

The Sevilla striker scored the only goal against Portugal in the quarter-final that took Morocco into the Last Four. He contributed with two strikes in the tournament as he proved his worth to Walid Regragui during a monumental journey in Qatar.

Before the World Cup, En-Nesyri was enduring a torrid season with Sevilla, and many questioned his performances in La Liga. The Moroccan striker will hope the World Cup displays will pump him up for the remainder of the season.

West Ham United are interested in the striker as David Moyes continues to search for players that improve his squad. The manager is open to adding relatively young names to his team as he phases several experienced and old stars out of the side.

West Ham did sign Gianluca Scamacca in the summer, with the Italian international settling in adequately so far. There are concerns over the long-term prospects of experienced striker Michail Antonio, who has had a terrible run of form this season.

Not many believe Antonio has a long-term future, and Moyes wants a similarly physical striker up front to replace the Jamaican international. West Ham’s style of their play revolves around a strong forward, and En-Neryri may seem like a good fit.

While the Hammers are interested, they may have to pay over the Morrocan’s current transfer value. Sevilla are reportedly demanding at least €25 million in return, with the increased price a byproduct after a good World Cup. The price may not prove problematic for West Ham if they are serious about the 25-year-old striker.

A move is possible in January, and En-Nesyri could be open to a new challenge elsewhere. The Premier League is an obvious choice for many players around the globe, and the Moroccan striker will thrive in the demanding conditions in England.
