Liverpool table offer to sign Jude Bellingham

Liverpool have submitted an offer worth €150 million to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Real Madrid.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Liverpool have made their first move to sign Jude Bellingham. The Reds have offered a sum of around €150 million for the 19-year-old midfielder, a target for Real Madrid.

Bellingham has been exceptional for club and country this season. He was one of England’s best players at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and is widely regarded as a world-class prospect. The 19-year-old is undoubtedly one of the best young players on the planet, and Liverpool would do well to secure his services.

The Reds are in need of major rebuilding when it comes to their midfield. Currently, they are littered with options that are either injury prone or past their peak. Bellingham could transform them in the midfield if the Reds manage to secure his services. And recent reports have suggested that the Englishman wants to join Liverpool.

There have been rumors that Borussia Dortmund value the player at €150 million. So Liverpool’s offer could be acceptable for them. Apparently, the Reds are offering €120 million up front and the rest in add-ons. Dortmund will probably hope that the add-ons are achievable variables.

Bellingham has proven that he is ready to take the next step in his career. And a move to the Premier League would be ideal at this stage of his career. He would get to perform at a high level if he moves to Liverpool, and playing alongside better players will only help him improve. Furthermore, he would be coached by one of the best managers in world football which will aid his development.

Jurgen Klopp will want to guide Liverpool to more league titles and UEFA Champions League trophies. The Reds need a serious rebuild, and the signing of Bellingham would be a major statement of intent from the Reds. However, Liverpool will have to face serious competition from Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are admirers of the England midfielder as well. And Real Madrid will need to replace Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in the long run. So Bellingham would be a superb acquisition for the reigning La Liga champions.

Liverpool already missed out on Aurelien Tchouameni when he joined Real Madrid during the summer transfer window. And they cannot afford to do the same with Bellingham now. So it will be interesting to see if their €150 million package helps them beat Real Madrid to the youngster’s signature.
