Rangers are wary of growing interest in 15-year-old prodigy Jack Wylie, with Tottenham and Newcastle United entering the chase.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham and Newcastle United have entered the chase for Jack Wylie. The highly-rated 15-year-old prodigy is a target for several other Premier League sides, including Arsenal and Manchester United, as Rangers remain eager not to lose another one of their promising youth prospects.

Rangers are in danger of seeing another one of their promising youth prospects getting plucked by the riches of the Premier League. The Ibrox side are keen to keep hold of 15-year-old prodigy Jack Wylie and want him to sign a professional deal with the club.

The Scottish giants have seen their efforts to keep hold of another promising youngster Rory Wilson go to waste after Aston Villa snatched him for a snip. The Premier League side managed to sign one of the top-rated youngsters for £300,000, and Rangers will hope to avoid another such scenario.

Rangers have already tie another promising youngster Leon King to a professional contract and will hope the same with Wylie. They are ready to table a ‘big money’ offer for the 15-year-old prodigy, who is not eligible to sign terms until he turns 16 in August.

The Ibrox side will hopefully convince Wylie that his developmental years are better served at the club than at one of the English sides. However, it may prove difficult for the 15-year-old prodigy to overlook the growing interest. Premier League outfits like Arsenal and Manchester United are in the chase.

Leeds United have now joined the Premier League duo. Tottenham and Newcastle United have also begun chasing the 15-year-old prodigy. The growing interest puts Rangers in a precarious position ahead of the next six months. And one of those teams in England could benefit if Wylie refuses professional terms at Ibrox.

Tottenham are actively looking at young talents in the market to bring and develop them into future finished articles. Pablo Maia from Sao Paulo has appeared on their radar. And if their interest in Wylie is serious, they are getting one of the promising youngsters from Scotland.

Even Newcastle United are open to building their youth sides with players from abroad and developing future talents. The Magpies will focus on bringing first-team-worthy players in the following windows, but Eddie Howe will also like to keep tabs on the youth sides.

Rangers will be hoping to avoid another situation where they lose one of their most promising youngsters in Wylie. The 15-year-old prodigy is highly rated by those watching him from England. In the coming weeks, there could be approaches made towards signing him. It will be interesting to see how Arsenal and Manchester United respond to the interest from Arsenal and Newcastle.
