Fulham are leading the race to sign Rick Karsdorp but will only shell out €8 million to sign the Dutch defender.
As per Voce Giallorossa, Fulham are eyeing some fresh faces in the January transfer window. And Rick Karsdorp is attracting some serious interest from the London side. The Dutch defender has fallen out of favour at AS Roma and is unlikely to appear further under Jose Mourinho this season.
Fulham have been on a steady approach this season and have remained unscathed from the relegation battle. Their recent win over Liverpool allowed them to have a peek into the top six, and they will certainly fancy their chances going ahead in this campaign.
Rick Karsdorp had a bitter fallout with Jose Mourinho, with the former Manchester United manager accusing him of lacking the right attitude. The Dutch right-back also skipped a training session but has since joined the training, and the manager will take the final call.
The management has tried to bury the hatchet between the two. But so far, the results are not that encouraging, and the player is likely to have a meeting with the club authorities to clarify their position regarding the current issue. Such a situation has captured the attention of Fulham.
Despite having two proper right-backs in Kevin Mbabu and Kenny Tete, Marco Silva has primarily used Bobby Reid on the right side of the defence. That speaks volumes about his interest in bringing another right=back to Craven Cottage.

Mourinho has refused to open up on this situation. And as it stands, the club will not stand in his way as long as they are getting the right price for him. Meanwhile, Karsdorp is not the only right-back on Fulham’s radar, with Ivan Fresneda also emerging as a target.
