London sides Arsenal, Tottenham, and West Ham United are vying for Monaco’s exciting 24-year-old French centre-back.

According to Give Me Sport, Axel Disasi is a target for at least three teams in the Premier League. London rivals Arsenal, Tottenham, and West Ham United are vying for the 24-year-old French centre-back, who is impressing at Monaco with consistent performances.

Axel Disasi is a player growing in stature and could become another gem Monaco unearthed in recent years. The 24-year-old French centre-back has become a vital part of the Ligue 1 side, even contributing admirably in the final third.

Disasi has three goals and four assists for Monaco in 24 games this season. While his numbers may show tremendous progress, the 24-year-old French centre-back’s performances in their backline have attracted plenty of suitors from the Premier League.

Leaping towards England is always attractive for players from anywhere; Disasi will ponder the possible approaches. Moreover, the attraction of London could prove tempting, and that’s where most of the interest comes from.

A trio of clubs from the capital are vying for his signature, with Arsenal, West Ham United and Tottenham chasing the 24-year-old French centre-back. A brief look at the Hammers will show how David Moyes is bent on redesigning their backline.

After signing Nayef Aguerd and Thilo Kehrer in the summer, Moyes wants further reinforcements to replace the likes of Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson. The manager has already refreshed the backline considerably and now has a younger profile of players at his disposal.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are in the market for various centre-backs and followed Disasi earlier in the summer. While their efforts could have been more fruitful, the north Londoners could make enquiries to understand the details of a possible transfer.

Antonio Conte is keen on a few specific names, such as Alessandro Bastoni. If these names are unattainable for various reasons, the Spurs boss will want alternatives in place, although he remains aware of the growing prices of such players.

Disasi is similar, as Monaco will demand significantly more than the €25 million valuations listed on Transfermarkt. Tottenham could be an attractive destination, but if they are to pursue Disasi, Conte will have to ward off reported interest from Arsenal.

The Gunners reportedly reached an agreement with Evan Ndicka. The Eintracht Frankfurt star will become a free agent in the summer, and Arsenal seems like the club is inching closer to bringing him. However, the report insists on their interest in Disasi. There are doubts about whether Mikel Arteta will sign another centre-back on top of his existing pack.

Disasi has a contract until 2025, and much like many players Monaco have sold in recent windows, the 24-year-old French centre-back will cost huge sums. The English clubs certainly have the financial muscle to make such moves happen, although anything in January would be a long shot.
