Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani next summer.

As per Footmercato, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur could go shoulder to shoulder in order to secure the signature of Randal Kolo Muani. The striker happens to be one of the most promising prospects available on the market currently.

The 24-year-old only joined Frankfurt from Nantes this summer and in his first Bundesliga season has caught the attention with his supreme skills in the attacking third.

He has already been involved in 15 goals in the German top tier and has all the necessary ingredients to attract the attention of top clubs. He received a call-up to the France national team as a replacement for Christopher Nkunku but is yet to play an important role in the World Cup.

Tottenham looked at the player in the summer but Frankfurt were quick to acknowledge their requirement and went on to sign the player for free. The forward is protected by a long-term contract and Antonio Conte needs to write a fat cheque to ensure his arrival in North London.

The Italian has had his struggles as except for Harry Kane none of the other forwards have maintained their standards. Kolo Muani’s versatility would stand him a chance in the crowd and he might have a bright future ahead of him.

Liverpool have failed to cope with the absence of Sadio Mane as it has been evident that they haven’t managed their attacking contingent well. Darwin Nunez has barely been able to prove his consistency since his summer move and time is running out.

Jurgen Klopp would ideally want another forward to be able to compete for a place in the starting lineup but his high price could pose a serious problem.

Frankfurt could demand as high as £69 million for his service and it would be difficult for the Merseysiders to fund that kind of amount. They are looking to rope in a midfielder and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham tops their list.

Kolo Muani has a lot to play for and it could be too soon for the young player to get such big moves so early in his career.
