Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona will be battling it out for the service of Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

As per Fichajes, PSG and Barcelona will be circling for the signature of Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford. The youngster has hit the right note this season, and a number of clubs are expected to vie for him.

The 25-year-old came through the youth system at Manchester United and is one of the rare talents who has made it big for the senior setup. The English international has been in raging form, scoring 11 goals this season including three goals at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Rashford is in the last year of his contract, although there is an option of a one-year extension. But contract talks are scheduled to take place as the Red Devils very much want to have the player at their disposal. Erik ten Hag is also satisfied with his development this season. And with Cristiano Ronaldo no longer at Old Trafford, Rashford will have the luxury to fill in his boots.

Barcelona have been targeting players with shorter contract span as their current financial condition won’t allow them to spend out of their bounds. They also need to offload players to free more wages in an attempt to make room for new players.

Primarily a left winger the England international can also be deployed anywhere across the front three and it is his versatility, which is attracting Barcelona.

Meanwhile, PSG have been long-term admirers of Rashford, and even his entourage reportedly had a meeting with the French club’s representatives. Amid Kylian Mbappe’s precarious situation, PSG would be looking for the perfect replacement, and Rashford can definitely mark his presence with his stupendous form.

The Manchester United forward is widely regarded in the same bracket as Mbappe and Erling Haaland and might need the ideal stage to perform on a consistent basis. The French champions can definitely offer him the best ambience to suit his potential. But the player already reiterated his desire to spend the rest of his career at Manchester United.

    rashford will always remain a united player he is going nowhere we love and still need him infact united should extend his contract to sue off these nonsense. has harry Kane is still in Tottenham so will rashy reaming in man u .
