It is imperative that Liverpool improve the midfield in order to challenge for the major trophies once again. And it remains to be seen whether Fenway Sports Group are prepared back to Klopp with considerable funds during the summer transfer window.

That said, Liverpool will have to finish in the top four in order to attract the top talents to Anfield next season. Players like Bellingham and Rice are already one of the best players in their respective leagues, and they will not want to join a club without UEFA Champions League football.

Both players would represent a major coup for the club if Liverpool manages to pull it off. There is no doubt that the Merseyside giants will have to break bank in order to sign both players.

The two players have been linked with a number of European clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United in recent months. So it remains to be seen whether Liverpool can fend off the competition from their European rivals and secure their services.
