Tottenham Hotspur are taking a strong interest in Fenerbahce’s young sensation Arda Guler and could bring the player to London.

As per Tutto Napoli, Tottenham are keeping tabs on Fenerbahce attacking midfielder Arda Guler and are planning to make a move for him. The 17-year-old has created ripples around the world, and a number of big clubs are courting his signature.

Tottenham will make some changes in January as Antonio Conte is not entirely content with his squad and will demand a number of fresh faces at the start of the next year. The north Londoners had started this campaign on a bright note. But as the season has progressed, they have failed to maintain their form and have been underwhelming in their recent matches.

Spurs have identified Guler to join their already envious attacking lineup consisting of the likes of Bryan Gil, Ryan Sessegnon and Dejan Kulusevski. The 17-year-old can play in a number of positions. But the player is most comfortable when he is deployed in the no. 10 position. However, he can also make an impact with his antics from the right wing.

He is yet to make his mark on the international stage but is expected to be introduced pretty shortly for Turkey in the international scene. Fenerbahce have big plans in the offing for the youngster, and it will be a pretty hard task for Tottenham to convince the player to leave his native country.

A solid young core could be the bedrock of future success, and Tottenham are definitely aware of that fact. Guler is tipped to be the next big thing in his country, and the Turkish club would demand a handsome fee to part ways with him.

Conte could definitely use some fresh legs in the midfield as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur have been the main men in the midfield and Guler’s arrival could certainly hand Conte some more quality. They have also shown interest in Morten Frendrup.

Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli are also tracking his progress, and the Premier League giants might have to make the first move in a bid to secure his signature. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can sign the 17-year-old starlet next year.
