Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing 22-year-old Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic from Serie A giants Juventus.

According to a report from Daily Telegraph, Dusan Vlahovic is on the radar of Manchester United, who are looking to add to the attacking unit in the coming months. Apart from the 22-year-old Juventus striker, Benjamin Sesko also features on Manchester United’s wishlist.

The Serb is one of the most talented attackers around Europe right now and might prove to be a quality addition for the Red Devils. It is no surprise that Manchester United are looking to bring in a reliable goalscorer. Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to move on in the summer. In addition, Anthony Martial has struggled with persistent fitness issues.

With Manchester United the only striker playing regularly, Manchester United will need to invest in a top-class striker soon. To that end, several players have emerged on the Red Devils’ radar, including Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Vlahovic has eight goals and an assist this season and has been a prolific goalscorer in Serie A lately. It will be interesting to see if Juventus are willing to cash in on the 22-year-old striker at the end of the season.

The Bianconeri paid around €70 million for the Serbian international, and they will demand a premium if Manchester United come calling at the end of the season. The Red Devils certainly have the resources to pay that kind of money for Vlahovic. Meanwhile, the player also features on the radar of Manchester United’s arch-rivals, Chelsea.

That said, the Red Devils will have to finish in the top four if they want to attract players like Vlahovic at the end of the season. Manchester United have improved substantially since the arrival of Erik ten Hag, but they are currently fifth in the Premier League table.

They will need to finish the season strongly, especially with Chelsea and Newcastle United in the race for a top four finish as well. Juventus have had a disappointing campaign by their standards and might look to rebuild in the summer. Selling Vlahovic will give them the resources to bring in the players they need. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months.
