Arsenal have set their sights on 23-year-old Spanish forward Ferran Jutgla, who is enjoying a sensational first season with Club Brugge.

According to Media Foot, Arsenal are among the clubs keen on signing Ferran Jutgla, who plays for Club Brugge. The 23-year-old Spanish forward has been garnering rave reviews for his goalscoring prowess, with many other teams keeping tabs on his situation.

Arsenal are atop the Premier League charts after eight rounds of fixtures. Mikel Arteta recently steered his side to a glorious North London Derby win over rivals Tottenham and looks to keep marching on. And he remains keen on keeping momentum when Arsenal face Liverpool at the weekend in a pivotal fixture.

They are also on top of their UEFA Europa League group after beating Bodo/Glimt at the Emirates on Thursday. Arteta knows the importance of keeping this current squad injury free but will keenly examine the actions in the transfer market.

Arteta remains open to adding quality from the market, and his attacking unit is one of the key areas for the next windows. Arsenal are already linked with a host of names, including Marcus Rashford. While the focus remains to bring in a wide attacker, the Gunners might keep an open mind over an opportunistic signing.

Club Brugge’s Ferran Jutgla has emerged on their radars, with the 23-year-old Spanish forward showing superb form since the season began. The former Barcelona attacker, who joined the Belgian side in July, has scored ten goals in all competitions, including two in the UEFA Champions League.

While he has a contract until 2026, there are no guarantees he will stay with Brugge for the long haul. His display against Atletico Madrid in a recent Champions League fixture has caught the eye of the Spanish side, but Arsenal are also thought to be keen.

Arteta knows there is a slight shortage of options with central strikers at the club. Summer arrival Gabriel Jesus has been in scintillating form this term, but Eddie Nketiah is his only cover. Luckily for Arsenal, there have not been many problems with injuries to those two, but either one visiting the treatment room could be a pressure situation.

The 23-year-old Spanish forward could bring some much-needed solidity to the area and provide a different option to their current setup. Arteta is keen on building a team worth challenging for titles, and adding a young striker could force into the manager’s plan.
