Arsenal are looking to sign Noa Lang in a last-ditch attempt in this window, as Mikel Arteta remains keen on a winger.

According to Rudy Galetti, Arsenal could attempt an approach to sign Noa Lang late on in the window. The Gunners have been keen on a wide attacker throughout the summer and could make a last-ditch attempt to bring the Dutch attacker from Club Brugge.

Noa Lang’s name has not rung within the Premier League circles for the best part of this window. The winger has been linked previously with a move to England, but nothing ever materialised, as he continued to ply his trade with Club Brugge.

The winger is already considered a tremendous talent in Netherlands and Belgium; he was expected to move shores at some stage. Reports from Belgium insist Brugge rejected an €18 million bid from Lille today, although the latest story links the winger with a move to Arsenal.

The Gunners are pushing hard to sign Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, but for the duration of this window, they wanted a new wide attacker. There were heavy links to Raphinha earlier, but he eventually chose Barcelona. The Gunners have been linked with several other names, including Pedro Neto, Yeremy Pino and Cody Gakpo, although nothing materialised.

As things stand, Rudy Galetti has tweeted out suggesting Arsenal could make a late attempt to bring the Dutch international to the Emirates. Mikel Arteta recognises shortages on the wings and could urge the club to make an 11th-hour swoop for the 23-year-old attacker.

Lang was previously linked with Newcastle United and West Ham United earlier in the window. Still, the only viable link to the Premier League is this one to Arsenal.

For now, Arsenal are understandably focusing on bringing in Luiz as their primary target for deadline day but could switch their attention towards Lang if time permits. For now, the price tag hanging on the winger’s shoulder remains unknown, as Brugge are not expected to let him leave on the cheap.
