The Belgian international is a free agent after leaving Real Sociedad at the end of last season when his contract expired. Januzaj has kept himself fit by training alongside specialists throughout the summer as he hoped for a big move.

Everton were reportedly keen on bringing him. Januzaj was seemingly open to joining Everton. But West Ham have lately shown an interest in signing him. The 27-year-old is a good prospect, and considering his availability on a free transfer, Moyes has been looking into bringing his former protege.

Moyes and Januzaj enjoyed a brief spell together at Manchester United, with the Scottish manager giving the Belgian international his breakthrough in English football. Since both their departures, Januzaj has done considerably well in Spain.

For now, West Ham United are discussing Januzaj internally, as the player remains open to joining them. The Belgian international awaits the club’s decision as the transfer deadline looms large. West Ham could wait longer, considering free transfers could still be completed beyond the end of the month.

They have certainly discussed terms with the 27-year-old’s representatives and could ponder signing the Belgian international to improve their quad depth before the window shuts. For now, a decision is expected soon enough, and Januzaj could get his move to England. Everton could also be alert and pounce again if West Ham’s move is stalled.
