Christian Pulisic uninterested in joining Manchester United

Christian Pulisic is not interested in moving to Manchester United, as he is open to fighting for his place under Thomas Tuchel.

According to Daily Mail, Christian Pulisic has ruled out a move to Manchester United, as he is willing to fight for his place under Thomas Tuchel. With some Chelsea players expected to leave, there could be more opportunities for the USMNT star, who wants to continue playing Champions League football.

Christian Pulisic has never been a consistent starter for Chelsea under at least two managers. The USMNT international has endured fitness struggles and poor form, and his long-term future at the west London club has come under scrutiny in the last few weeks.

Having fallen down the pecking order, Pulisic is not a guaranteed starter at the club. But things could change between now and the transfer deadline, and the Chelsea attacker could either move on or accept his current role at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United have been touted as potential suitors, with the Red Devils considering a loan move for the Chelsea attacker. The idea emerged after Manchester United failed to sign some of their priority targets, with Erik ten Hag pushing the club to sign a new wide attacker.

The Red Devils are keen on signing Antony and could submit a new €100 million offer for the Ajax forward. If they end up signing the 22-year-old Brazilian international, a move for Pulisic could be called off, although the Chelsea attacker is not that keen on joining Manchester United.

Pulisic has considered his options and decided against joining Manchester United. The American winger is considering staying put at Chelsea, as he is open to fighting for his place under Thomas Tuchel. Even if he leaves the west London club, he will not join Manchester United as he wants to feature in the UEFA Champions League.

Pulisic has been frustrated because of a lack of starts. However, he is one of the first options Tuchel turns to on the bench. Additionally, with players such as Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi expected to leave Chelsea before the transfer deadline, there will be less competition for places in the team.

The Chelsea attacker’s decision is solely based upon Champions League football, with Pulisic intending to play in the competition. Manchester United are not in a position to offer that, so the idea of staying put at Stamford Bridge is more appealing to the USMNT star.
