Leeds United are on the verge of completing the signing of Luis Sinisterra from Feyenoord after reaching a full agreement for the 23-year-old.

Leeds United’s transfer business is showing no signs of slowing down as they are on the cusp of completing another signing. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Whites have total agreement with Feyenoord for the capture of Luis Sinisterra, who has also agreed personal terms with the club.

Sinisterra has been in Europe for four years, having joined Feyenoord from Once Caldas in his homeland of Colombia. The 23-year-old has made over 100 appearances for the Dutch giants so far and excelled in the 2021/22 campaign, during which he plundered 23 goals and 14 assists from 49 matches in all competitions.

Capable of playing on either flank or through the middle, Sinisterra has five caps for the Colombian national team. Leeds United have been pushing for his signing over the past week as they look to replace exit-bound superstar Raphinha. The Brazilian international is the subject of a transfer tug of war between Barcelona and Chelsea and is all set to depart Elland Road, leaving a gaping hole in the attack.

Leeds United have quickly narrowed in on Sinisterra as their preferred candidate to replace Raphinha. Having opened talks with Feyenoord recently, the Whites have been express in closing the deal with the Dutch giants for the transfer.

As per the terms of the agreement, Leeds United will be shelling out €25 million in fixed payments plus add-ons to Feyenoord in exchange for Sinisterra’s services. The update from Fabrizio Romano adds that the Colombian international has agreed personal terms with the Yorkshire-based outfit, with the transfer now on the verge of completion.

Leeds United are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to strengthen their roster after the close brush with relegation from the Premier League last season. The Whites have already signed Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca this summer. A £20 million deal for RB Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams is also in place, with his signing set to be announced imminently.

Now, Sinisterra, too, is poised to make his way to Elland Road as Leeds continue to bolster their squad to avoid a similar fate as last season and push for a top-half finish.
