Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid keeping tabs on Mohamed-Ali Cho

Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid have reportedly registered interest in emerging SCO Angers forward Mohamed-Ali Cho.

According to a report from RMC Sport, Angers are facing a fierce battle to keep hold of Mohamed-Ali Cho. The explosive 18-year-old forward has become one of the most in-demand attackers in the transfer market, with many expecting him to join a bigger club in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Real Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool are some of the many clubs that have been closely monitoring the development of Cho this season. Angers are likely to sell the forward in the summer, with the Ligue 1 outfit hoping to raise in excess of €25 million from the sale.

A centre forward by trade, Cho has been one of the rising stars in French football this season, becoming a key member of the Angers frontline. Although Cho’s tally of just two goals in 26 matches is far from impressive, the French wonderkid has made an impression with his dribbling and dynamism in the final third.

The 18-year-old is further capable of drifting out wide if necessary, making him a modern forward who relies heavily on his skill rather than physique. Due to his rapid rise to prominence, the former Everton youth prodigy has become a target for several top clubs across Europe.

A return to England could be on the cards, with Chelsea and Liverpool keeping close tabs on his development. Both the English giants have shown a lot of ambition when it comes to youth development and could offer the French wonderkid an ideal platform to showcase his skills.

The Reds are already closing in on the capture of Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho as Jurgen Klopp looks to bring in young talents to build the core of the future Liverpool frontline.

Chelsea, too, have enjoyed immense success in integrating their youth players into the first team, with the likes of Mason Mount, Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah making their breakthroughs in recent years. The addition of Cho could further strengthen their core in the Chelsea youth department, which could be extremely helpful in the long run.

Another potential destination for the Angers forward could be Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are expected to undergo a massive overhaul in the summer, with the likes of Isco, Luka Jovic and Gareth Bale set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

Mohamed-Ali Cho could prove to be a smart investment for Los Blancos. The 18-year-old has the talent to become a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema and a future strike partner for someone like Kylian Mbappe, who remains likely to join Real Madrid this summer.
