Arsenal, Liverpool and AC Milan are keeping tabs on Fulham sensation Fabio Carvalho, who continues to enhance his reputation at Craven Cottage.

According to Calciomercato, Liverpool, Arsenal, and AC Milan are all in the fray to secure the services of Fulham sensation Fabio Carvalho in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old has been among the standout performers for Marco Silva’s side this season as they look to gain promotion to the English Premier League. As things stand, Fulham are currently top of the English second division and can be considered favourites to return to the top flight.

Carvalho has been with Fulham since 2014, making his senior debut for the club in 2020. He has since made 35 first-team appearances for the Cottagers. The youngster has scored seven goals and assisted six more in 27 league games this season, playing a huge role in Fulham’s bid for promotion.

Carvalho’s performances have not gone unnoticed, with several top teams keeping tabs on his progress. Liverpool were close to signing him in the January transfer window, only for the deal to fall apart in the dying moments of deadline day. While the Reds remain optimistic, they might not have it easy in the summer.

Arsenal have shown good form of late and are looking increasingly impressive under Mikel Arteta. A young core of players form the spine of the Spaniard’s resurgence at the Emirates, and adding Carvalho to the lot will hand the North Londoners yet another talented youngster to integrate.

AC Milan, too have impressed this season and are putting together a project that could help them regain the title of Italy’s top dogs. Both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud are not getting any younger, while Brahim Diaz has often flattered to deceive. Carvalho can play anywhere upfront and also serve as an attacking midfielder. Either way, he would add much to a Rossoneri side lacking inspiration in attack.

Liverpool could, however, have enough reasons to believe they hold the aces in the race for the 19-year-old. Not only did they agree personal terms with the player in January, but in Jurgen Klopp, they have a manager who is ready to put his faith in youth. The club’s ageing frontline will need to be phased out, meaning Carvalho could potentially be set to play a huge role in the years to come.

More so, Harvey Elliott, who joined Liverpool from Fulham, has already made his mark at the senior level, which could convince the teenage prospect to choose Anfield as his next destination.

Carvalho’s contract at Craven Cottage runs out in the summer, meaning he would be available for free. While Liverpool will have to be seen as the favourites, Arsenal and Milan could boost their chances if they secure Champions League football or win the Scudetto, respectively.
