Leeds United and Arsenal are reportedly set to wage a transfer battle for Noa Lang, with Club Brugge open to offers if their €25 million asking price is met.

According to Fichajes, Noa Lang is emerging on the radars of multiple Premier League clubs, with a summer transfer being mooted for the winger. Arsenal and Leeds United are two of the teams vying for the signature of the Dutch international, valued at €25 million by Club Brugge.

Noa Lang has been grabbing the attention of teams across the continent after some impressive performances for Club Brugge. The 22-year-old winger has had a decent season, netting eight goals and providing 12 assists across all competitions.

His performances in the UEFA Champions League group stage were particularly eye-catching, with Premier League clubs keeping a firm eye on his development at the Belgian club. Liverpool and Arsenal have reportedly been interested for some time, but other clubs from England are queuing up for the Dutch attacker.

In the summer, he could become a definitive target for Premier League outfits, with Leicester City also in the race to sign the €25 million-rated Dutch Winger. Club Brugge are prepared to sell if they receive reasonable offers, and his valuation could appeal to several clubs.

Leeds United are prepared to invest heavily in the Dutchman, with new manager Jesse Marsch and the club looking for new attacking talents to reinforce the squad. A move could transpire if the Whites avoid relegation, as they have been dragged close to the drop zone in recent weeks.

The Yorkshire outfit has intense competition from some bigger clubs, namely Arsenal. The Gunners are in the market to strengthen several key positions. A central midfielder, striker and a new wide attacker remain on their agenda, and Noa Lang certainly fits their criteria.

The Dutch winger’s age profile and style of play is what Mikel Arteta seeks. The main focus for the Gunners is to strengthen the left side of their wide attacking zone. The idea could be to bring in a new player in the position and move Gabriel Martinelli to a more central role.

Moreover, there are also question marks over Nicolas Pepe’s long-term future at the club, and Noa Lang could be the ideal replacement for the Ivorian. On current form and stature, there are players such as Martinelli, Emile Smith Rowe and even Pepe who would be ahead of the Dutchman if he arrived.

He will not be an immediate starter under Arteta, although he certainly has the quality to succeed and cement his place steadily in the team. It remains to be seen if Arsenal are prepared to invest €25 million in the Dutch winger and add to the quality of their squad in the summer, or if they get beaten to his signature by Leeds United.
