Leeds United will host Wolves at Elland Road on Saturday, looking to build on the win over Manchester United earlier this week.
Leeds United are coming into this game vs Wolves on the back of three wins and two draws from the last five matches in all competitions. The Whites will be full of confidence heading into this game, and they will look to pick up all three points.
Leeds United are still very much in the race for survival, and a win here could take them nine points clear of the bottom three, which will more or less guarantee their safety. So, Daniel Farke’s men will be fully motivated for this contest.
On the other hand, Wolves are at the bottom of the league table, and they are coming into this game on the back of a comprehensive defeat against West Ham United. They have failed to win 33 of the last 36 Premier League matches, making this a difficult outing for them.
Leeds have the momentum and confidence with them after beating Manchester United at Old Trafford, and they should be able to get the job done. The Hard Tackle takes a closer look at the encounter ahead of the latest meeting between the two sides.

Key Stats
- Leeds United are unbeaten in five of the last six matches against Wolves. Meanwhile, 21 goals have been scored in the last six matches between these two sides.
- Leeds United have won nine of their last 12 Premier League home games against teams starting the day bottom of the table (D2 L1), with their one defeat coming against Bolton Wanderers in November 2002..
- Wolves have failed to win 33 of their last 36 matches in the Premier League. Meanwhile, the Black Country outfit have failed to score in 16 Premier League games this season, as many as they did in 2023/24 (9) and 2024/25 (7) combined. They last failed to score in more games in a campaign back in 2009/10 (17).
- Leeds United are unbeaten in the last five matches in all competitions. However, the Whites have failed to score in four of their last five Premier League games at Elland Road, including the last three in a row. The only time the West Yorkshire outfit have gone four in a row without a home league goal was in February/March 1982 in the top-flight under Allan Clarke.
- After their 2-1 win at Manchester United last time out, Leeds are looking to win back-to-back Premier League games for the very first time this season; they are the only club yet to do so in the division in 2025/26.
Player to Watch
Noah Okafor
The Leeds United attacker is our key player to watch out for. He was outstanding against Manchester United and scored twice in the game. Okafor is high on confidence, and he has impressed in the Premier League since joining Leeds United. He will look to get on the sheet again and create opportunities for his teammates.
Meanwhile, Okafor has scored four goals in his last four Premier League games, twice as many as he netted in his first 21 appearances in the competition beforehand (2). Only two Swiss players have scored more Premier League goals in a single season than his six in 2025/26: Xherdan Shaqiri in 2017-18 (8), and Granit Xhaka in 2022/23 (7).
Wolves have been quite poor at the back, and they could struggle to contain him. He will look to make a defining impact in the final third and help his team pick up three points in their battle for survival. With Okafor showing such splendid form, it is hardly surprising that he is a captaincy candidate in FPL for Gameweek 33.
Prediction
Leeds United 2-1 Wolves
Both teams will be looking to fight for a win here, and this is likely to be a close contest. However, Leeds are the better team on current form, and they will be the favourites to grind out all three points at home.
Wolves have been quite poor at the back, and Leeds United have the quality in the final third to expose them. Both teams are likely to get on the score sheet here, but the home team should be able to pick up a narrow victory. The Hard Tackle predicts a hard-fought 2-1 win for Daniel Farke and his charges.
