Rumours have surfaced that Liverpool are preparing a surprise January move for out of favour Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The 23-year-old Englishman seems to be stuck in the twilight zone at the Emirates. He is constantly rated as one of the top young talents in English football, but his performances haven’t shown much promise and he isn’t currently a crucial squad member for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.
The Gunners’ Premier League rivals Liverpool are hoping to persuade him to come to Anfield, and the Anfield faithful definitely think that ‘The Ox’ has it in him to be a Red.

Many believed that the Ox would make much better progress under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, compared to his development under Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Klopp has revitalized many players in the Liverpool squad with his coaching, and the Kop hope he can do the same for the Ox.
If Ox has the choice, no brainer swapping Wenger for Klopp. LFC long time admirers, the midfielder hasn’t really progressed under Wenger.

However the fact is that this deal looks highly unlikely, especially considering the history between Arsenal and Liverpool. The Gunners wouldn’t want to strengthen a direct rival, and would probably prefer sending the Ox abroad on loan.
Ox to Liverpool is a dead deal. Won’t happen IMO. Arsenal won’t sell him to us after the Suarez saga.
