Arsenal are currently pushing for Premier League triumph with seven games left in the season, but Rio Ferdinand is sceptical of the title win.

The Gunners are currently second in the Premier League table, and they will be hoping to go all the way. However, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand expects (via Daily Mirror) Arsenal to lose the league title.

He has predicted that Arsenal will lose to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the remaining games of the season. Ferdinand believes that Tottenham will beat Arsenal 2-1 at home and Manchester United are likely to pick up a 3-2 win.

At this stage of the season, every game will be a cup final, and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal can win their remaining games of the season. Matches against Tottenham and Manchester United will undoubtedly be extremely tough, and the Gunners will have to be at their best to grind out all three points against their rivals.

After making his prediction on Arsenal, Rio Ferdinand said, “Tottenham can decide this whole run-in. They’re playing all three teams. They have a big say, Spurs.”

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are currently pushing for Champions League qualification, and they will be desperate to win all of their games as well. They could have a big say in the title race, especially with Aston Villa breathing down their necks. Spurs cannot afford to falter right now, and they will also want to dent the title hopes of their bitter rivals.

Arsenal are good enough to win their games

Arsenal certainly have the quality and the momentum to win games against clubs like Tottenham and Manchester United. But they will have to perform at their best to get the job done. The Gunners finished second in the league table last season as well, and they will not want to be the runners up once again.

This is a golden opportunity for them to win the league title, with Manchester City showing some vulnerability this season, and they must capitalise on the opportunity. After missing out on the league title last season, Arsenal will have gained valuable experience, and they should be able to deal with the pressure and grind out important results at this stage of the season. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
