Real Madrid got back on track in La Liga as they produced a clinical performance to beat Real Sociedad 3-1 at Anoeta on Sunday.
Real Madrid maintained pace with bitter rivals Barcelona, getting back to winning ways to beat Real Sociedad 3-1. Striker Borja Mayoral opened the scoring for the visitors with his first senior goal for Los Blancos, before it was quickly cancelled out by Kevin Rodrigues.
The Real Sociedad then went from hero to zero on the night as he helped Zinedine Zidane’s men restore their lead by turning the ball into his own net before being outpaced by Gareth Bale, who scored a superb solo goal to round off the win for Real Madrid.
The Welshman has now scored in five consecutive away games for Los Blancos, and his solo effort was a major talking point on Twitter. Here are the best bits as Real Madrid supporters extended their support towards him.

Bale doesn’t need Ronaldo to play well. Bale needs our support to play well. Booing doesn’t help anyone.

Weird how Gareth Bale is a world class player when his teammates find him and give him the ball like CR. Weird how he’s not invisible then.

Mayoral must be referred to as “Borja Boss” from now on. These are the rules I don’t make them up.

Mayoral in 20 minutes scored a goal while Benzema needed 2 games to hit the target.
