Martin De Roon scored a dramatic equaliser in stoppage time to snatch a draw at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City.
Sergio Aguero scored his 150th goal for City just before half-time, before City continued to dominate the game only for De Roon to bring them back down to earth after their victory against Spanish giants Barcelona.
This means that City can be overtaken this weekend, should Liverpool win at Watford or Arsenal at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
Twitter reacted as Aguero opened the scoring, with the official account congratulating him on 150 goals for the club.

De Bruyne was singled out for praise, after a fantastic ball in that left Aguero with the easiest of touches to finish the goal.
18 shots later it's 1-0 to City! What a ball from De Bruyne. Agueros 150th Manchester City goal ? pic.twitter.com/aDk1G4gZVE

And what a ball from Kevin De Bruyne! It was going to take something special to dismantle Boro's bus, and that was it! Tap in for Sergio!

De Bruyne is literally the final ball king. Already his eight assist of the season. And Aguero's 150th goal for City.

They said Aguero's second half miss will be the elephant in D Roon??
— Ashley (@ashleytolanix) November 5, 2016
City fans everywhere then began placing the blame on the two men involved in the goal, Aguero and De Bruyne, especially after the former missed a glorious chance to double City’s lead.
Should Aguero score that, this won't have happened.. sloppy performance @bobskino @espeezeal @Molade87 @Fonskyy
— Unstoppable (@Mistakingso) November 5, 2016
Aguero missing a sitter and followed by De Bruyne missing an open net. Just not our day.
— City Chief ️ (@City_Chief) November 5, 2016
Slow to close down cross, Clichy left to jump with two at far post. Real culprits were at the other end though. Aguero's miss critical.
— Simon Curtis (@bifana_bifana) November 5, 2016
Pundits need to stop overhyping aguero! Great player but so overrated.and thats what guardiola can see Cost us 2 points! @EsteemedKompany
— Nathan murphy (@nathanmurphy91) November 5, 2016
Just like against Everton, Aguero and De Bruyne missed two clear chances and we paid the price.
— Sid. (@Sid_Chaurasiya) November 5, 2016
Aguero and De Bruyne are responsible for this. Cannot miss sitters and then expect the other team to not punish.
— Mehul (@TheGuardiolaEra) November 5, 2016
De Bruyne's inconsistency continues don't let that 1 cross out of 15 attempts fool you
