Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino believes managing Chelsea is easier in comparison to Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino has had a tough start to life at Chelsea. The Argentine manager has only won one Premier League game so far and the Blues are currently 14th on the points table. Despite having spent millions on new players, the London club has struggled to get going.
While the struggle continues, Pochettino still believes managing Chelsea is easier than any of the former English clubs that he has been a part of in the past. The 51-year-old feels the Southampton and Tottenham job was much more difficult than the one he currently has.
The Argentine boss said via Fabrizio Romano: “It’s less than hard it was in Southampton and Tottenham, Trust me, believe me,”
“The only thing we are missing is to score goals.”
The former Tottenham boss believes his team is playing good football and it is just a matter of time before the results start coming their way. Pochettino feels that the Blues are missing goals and once they sort that out, things will fall into place.

Chelsea had struggled throughout last season and one of the major concerns for them was their form in front of goal. After the appointment of Pochettino, they have added a lot of quality to their attack but the goals are still missing. As a result, they haven’t had the kind of impact they wanted to have at the start of the 2023-24 season.
On the back of his team’s struggle, the boss has talked about the pressure of managing the club. He feels the job at the Blues isn’t as difficult as it was back in the day when he was managing Tottenham Hotspur.
Pochettino was in charge of Tottenham from the summer of 2014 to November 2019. He managed them in a total of 293 matches and averaged 1.84 points per game. While he didn’t manage to win any major titles, he surely did a great job at the club. Under his leadership, Spurs even made it to the final of the Champions League.
The 51-year-old has recently taken charge of Chelsea and he has managed them in seven matches but has only won twice. Pochettino will look to have more positive results in the near future but at this point in time, he feels managing the Blues is easier than it was to manage the Saints or Spurs.
