Joshua Zirkzee has been linked with a summer move away from Bologna heading into the summer transfer window.
Arsenal and Manchester United are keen on signing Joshua Zirkzee, and they will now face competition from Serie A giants Inter Milan. The Dutchman has been in outstanding form for the Bologna, scoring 12 goals and picking up seven assists in all competitions.
Inter Milan legend and vice-president Javier Zanetti has now confirmed via 90min that the Nerazzurri are keen on securing his services, and it remains to be seen whether they can beat the competition from the two Premier League clubs.
“Zirkzee is a great champion. We are talking about a young, talented, intelligent, physically very strong player,” Zanetti said before continuing, “Someone like that would be useful to any great team aiming for important goals. If an important opportunity presents itself, maybe we can think about it.”
Zirkzee has proven himself to be an exciting young attacker, and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for Manchester United and Arsenal. So, it is hardly surprising that high-profile clubs are keen on securing his services.
Manchester United need to bring in more quality in the final third. Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford are the only goal scoring options that their disposal, and Rashford has not been at his best this season. Hojlund needs more support in the attack, and Zirkzee would be a quality partner for him. The 22-year-old will add goals and creativity to the Manchester United attack.

Arsenal are looking for an alternative to Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian has scored just four goals in the Premier League, and Arsenal are hoping to bring in an upgrade on the South American.
Zirkzee has the quality to improve Arsenal and Manchester United in the final third, and he is likely to be tempted to join them as well. Arsenal and Manchester United are amongst the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to play for them can be quite tempting for most players.
Similarly, Inter Milan are a big club as well. The Nerazzurri have recently won the Serie A title, and they will be pushing for major trophies next season as well. Joining them would allow Zirkzee to continue in Italy and compete at a high level as well. It will be interesting to see what the player decides.
