Chelsea manager Graham Potter has confirmed that the owners of the club are frustrated with the results of late.
Graham Potter has admitted that the Chelsea owners have been frustrated with the results on the pitch. The Blues manager has had the backing of the board for a while now but has said that they have been disappointed because of the results on the pitch.
Graham Potter said: “I’ve spoken to them. It’s the same as always. There’s always been support. I’ve been under pressure for four months. [Their support] continues. They’ve been great. They see where we’re at, but are frustrated because we have to do better.”

Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly has spent a fortune on buying players. He has focused on signing the best young talent from across the globe. Despite signing the best players they haven’t been able to deliver the results.
The London-based club are currently 10th in the Premier League with 31 points out of their 23 matches. They have had a really difficult time in the past few months. Potter has struggled to get the desired results.

In their last 5 league matches, they have only won one game. When we look at their last 14 matches in all competitions, they have come out on top only twice. The team in blue have lost eight of those matches. It has been a real struggle for Potter’s men.
While the team have been playing good football on the pitch, they haven’t managed to get the right results. Playing good football has earned them praise but without results, things don’t really work well in the world of football.
Potter will have to get things back on track as soon as possible. Finishing in a Champions League spot in the league is beyond their reach but they can still make a good fight out of the remaining matches and try to finish on a high.
They do have the talent in their squad to still compete for the UCL where they have a 1-0 deficit to take care of when they host Borussia Dortmund in the 2nd leg of the Round of 16.
The English manager’s job is at stake and he will have to turn things around as soon as possible or else he might get the sack.
The Blues are already monitoring a few managerial options in case Potter fails to turn things around in the next few weeks. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see how long the board backs the manager.
