Michy Batshuayi scored a hattrick on Wednesday as Chelsea dismantled Nottingham Forest with a 5-1 scoreline to progress in the Carabao Cup.
Chelsea fans were excited to see the lineup for their Carabao Cup third round match against Nottingham Forest. And the starting eleven did not disappoint, with Michy Batshuayi scoring a hattrick for the Blues as the Belgian front-three ran rings around the Nottingham Forest players.
Chelsea’s very own Batman was the hero on the night and he got the adulation he deserved for his performance.
Michy Batshuayi has played less than 1,000 minutes for Chelsea, already has 14 goals + assists (11G, 3A). Decent start to his Chelsea career

Batshuayi is our version of Lukaku – more than awful in the game, but adds his name to the score-sheet (against small teams).

The night, though, belonged to Belgian youngster Charly Musonda Jr., who scored on his full debut for Chelsea and overall had a brilliant game on Wednesday.

Literally stood up & clapped for that. A normal goal but a rather emotional one for Musonda and every Chelsea fan would feel proud of it!

It’s refreshing to see a (mostly) Chelsea second string play with this much fluidity & confidence. This is the mindset Conte wanted #cfc
