Having gone down early in the game, Chelsea bounced back strongly to trounce Cardiff City 4-1 at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea extended their 100% record in the 2018-19 Premier League as they came back from a goal down to beat newly promoted Cardiff City 4-1.
The Bluebirds, chasing their first win of the campaign, were ahead just sixteen minutes into the game through defender Sol Bamba through a clever set-piece routine. Twenty minutes later Chelsea reinstated parity through Eden Hazard’s strike, after being set up by Olivier Giroud. The pair combined again on the verge of half-time, with the Belgian slotting it past Neil Etheridge to put the Blues ahead.
Following the restart, the game hung in balance with Cardiff showing more attacking intent, but Hazard put the result beyond a doubt when he coolly converted his penalty in the 80th minute to complete his hat-trick. Substitute Willian then scoreda fourth immediately after to add more sheen to the scoreline.
The win meant Maurizio Sarri’s men jumped to the top of the Premier League table, ahead of rivals Liverpool on goal difference. And the fans couldn’t stop raving about the team’s performance on social media, with many believing that the title was coming to the Stamford Bridge this season;
Fancy Chelsea for the title this year. Jorginho signing of the season so far, brilliant the way he controls the game. Playing some fantastic stuff, most entertaining team in the league

Chelsea are one Andreas Christensen in the starting XI away from being genuine title contenders. Their attack under Sarri is so slick and deadly, yet their defence needs some serious work.

This game has proven..
– Eden Hazard is top three players in Europe
– Christensen should still be starting over Luiz
– Giroud has magical link up play
– Jorginho dictates every game he plays in
– Sarriball >>>>> SufferballChelsea need to be taken seriously.. ?

Chelsea's "magic number" (any combination of points won by Chelsea or dropped by the second-place team, currently Liverpool) to clinch the Premier League title is now down to an even 100… #topoftheleague #nosuchthingastooearly

Chelsea play the best football in all of the Seven Kingdoms….we get a new coach, adapt quickly, win the title….unlike some teams that need to unlock their midfielders or another that needs a billion pounds and two seasons to win a title Leicester also won

It was Eden Hazard that stole the show with another scintillating display that lit up the Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The Belgian wing wizard now has five goals and two assists in five league games in the season.

Full freedom Eden Hazard under an attack minded manager was always going to be a problem.. every sane Chelsea fan predicted this. But people called him overrated because he didn't put up ridiculous numbers in defensive systems. You'll see ridiculous numbers now.

The people who compare their players to Eden Hazard in the Premier League are just trying to make their players relevant but deep down they know Sir Eden Hazard is the best in the Premier League.

Its kinda weird though, how a player is judged if he's world class depending on goals he scores.
Hazard has the ELITE ablility, that he improves his team mates around him, he creates, he pre assists, he creates space, he still performs regardless of system he plays in.
Genius
