Liverpool romped to a repeat of the 4-0 scoreline the last time they travelled to Bournemouth, with Mohamed Salah netting a hattrick in the process.

Liverpool were supposed to be in for a troubled time at Dean Court, given their recent struggles to sweep away opposition. Bournemouth have also been putting in credible performances this season and were expected to make it tough for Liverpool.

But, as it turned out, the home side were under pressure from early on in the game and conceded in the 25th minute, with Mohamed Salah scoring the opener. Salah doubled the lead and an own goal credited to Steve Cook added another before the Egyptian wrapped up proceedings, completing his hat-trick.

Mohamed Salah was the cream of the crop and the talk of Twitter, for his hat-trick, after having not scored in his last three games.

Another player that received accolades from Twitterati was James Milner, who not only completed 500 Premier League appearances, but did so playing at an unfamiliar position at right-back.

But, what happened after the full-time whistle caught more attention, with Mohamed Salah refusing to take the Man of the Match award and handing it to James Milner instead, an act that saw plaudits come his way.

But, this was perhaps the most apt tweet to come from the result.
