Vincent Kompany has established himself as one of the world’s most promising young coaches since entering the managerial world. One of the greatest defenders of his generation, the former Belgian international enjoyed a stellar career, particularly at the club level, where he won numerous trophies with Manchester City. His career ended at boyhood outfit Anderlecht, serving them as the player-manager before hanging up his boots.
The 39-year-old entered the coaching sphere in 2019 and has risen in stature in the last half a dozen years. Kompany’s stock soared after joining Burnley, with the Clarets playing an eye-catching brand of football in the EFL Championship.
