Cole Palmer and Trevoh Chalobah will return to the Chelsea starting lineup when they welcome West Ham United to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea will be eager to continue the recent winning run when they host West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening. Liam Rosenior has no new injury concerns hampering his preparations ahead of his side’s latest fixture.
Levi Colwill (knee) is the most notable absentee, with Tosin Adarabioyo (hamstring) and Dario Essugo (thigh) accompanying him in the treatment room. While Romeo Lavia has resumed training, Saturday’s game will come too soon for him.
Additionally, Mykhailo Mudryk remains in the treatment room due to a suspension following a failed doping test several months ago. Meanwhile, during his pre-match press conference, Rosenior provided fitness updates on Cole Palmer, Tosin Adarabioyo, Romeo Lavia, and Dario Essugo.
The Chelsea boss said, “Cole is fine. He came through the other night with two assists and an outstanding performance [vs Napoli]. He is available to start tomorrow [against West Ham] and of course, we are really happy about that. We want to make sure all our players are at their top level. Whether that’s Cole, Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez or whoever. These are outstanding players and when they are performing at their top level, they show that.”
“They [Adarabioyo, Lavia, Essugo] are all getting closer day by day, and they’re progressing well. Tosin was back out on the pitch today doing his individual rehab. Romeo is in a really good place, and we just have to make sure this last stage of his rehab is really, really good. Dario is, obviously, a little further behind.”
Rosenior also discussed Levi Colwill’s progress during his presser. The Chelsea head coach said, “Yes he could [be back before the end of the season] but it’s step by step and I don’t want to make promises that I can’t keep. At the moment, Levi’s in a really good place. He’s on the right track but I don’t want to put pressure on him.”
Robert Sanchez is an automatic pick between the sticks, with Chelsea lining up in a 4-2-3-1 formation in front of him against West Ham United on Saturday. The backline will feature Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah, Wesley Fofana, and Marc Cucurella.
As for the midfield unit, there is no looking past Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez in the double pivot. Cole Palmer will reprise the no. 10 role, with Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho being the two wide attackers. Finally, Joao Pedro will lead the line for the home side against West Ham on Saturday.

Predicted Chelsea XI: Sanchez; James, Chalobah, Fofana, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Neto, Palmer, Garnacho; Pedro
