Jonny Evans has resumed training after recovering from his recent fitness issues. So, Luke Shaw is the only absentee, with the English international struggling to overcome his never-ending fitness issues.
Meanwhile, during his pre-match press conference, which happened immediately after the UEFA Europa League game against Viktoria Plzen, Amorim provided a positive fitness update on Jonny Evans. He also addressed the topic of knocks for players who participated in the midweek fixture.
The Manchester United manager said, “Yeah, he’s training already. I don’t think so [no fresh knocks sustained against Viktoria Plzen]. It was five minutes ago, so I have to see it. But no, just some players were tired in the end, you could see it, also because of the transitions it was a crazy game in the end today. But I think everyone is going to be fit and ready to win the game.”
