West Ham United are reportedly considering making a move to appoint Liverpool target Arne Slot as their next manager.

According to a report by HITC, West Ham United are interested in having Arne Slot on their bench starting next season. The 45-year-old has done wonders for Feyenoord, and his impressive work has put him on the radar of multiple top clubs.

Slot took charge of the Dutch club back in 2021, and he has transformed them into a winning team that has managed to dominate the opposition in the Eredivisie. The 45-year-old guided them to the league title last season, and his team have been playing an attractive and attacking brand of football this time around as well.

Feyenoord’s performances have put the Dutch tactician on the radar of multiple top clubs, and it won’t be a surprise if he does end up joining a bigger European club in the summer. Liverpool are one of the clubs keen on having him in their ranks.

Liverpool’s interest in Arne Slot

The Reds are on the lookout for an ideal replacement for Jurgen Klopp. Sporting CP’s Ruben Amorim was at the top of their wishlist. But talks with his representatives have been on standby since last week. Slot is another name on Liverpool’s radar, and they have started working on a potential deal to bring the 45-year-old to Anfield.

While nothing is concrete yet, they surely are interested in the Feyenoord manager. Meanwhile, West Ham United are also on the lookout for a new boss, and Slot is one of the names on their radar as well.

West Ham United’s search for a new boss

The Hammers wanted to appoint Amorim as their new boss. They established contacts with the 39-year-old who along with his entourage travelled to London to discuss the job. But, it seems the initial talks have not gone according to plan, and he is unlikely to join them in the summer.

As a result, West Ham United are now looking at Slot as an Amorim alternative. The Hammers feel the Dutch manager could be an ideal fit for the club. The Liverpool target has an impressive track record and his style of play will suit them and their players.

They are considering making a move for the 45-year-old. But with Liverpool also keen on his signatures, it won’t be easy to convince him about the move. As a result, it will be interesting to which bench Slot is on starting next season.
