Liverpool are looking at potential replacements for Jurgen Klopp, and they have set their sights on Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou.

A report from Give Me Sport has claimed that Liverpool are keeping tabs on 58-year-old Australian manager Ange Postecoglou, who has been doing wonders at Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Klopp has announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season, and he is taking time off from coaching in order to recharge his batteries. Liverpool have been linked with multiple managers in recent weeks, and it seems that Postecoglou is on their radar as well.

The Australian has done a superb job at Tottenham so far, and he could prove to be an interesting addition. His high-intensity attacking football would be a good fit for the current Liverpool squad, and his charismatic personality would be the ideal fit for the club as well.

Replacing Klopp will be an uphill challenge for any club. But there is no doubt that the Australian manager has the quality to manage a big club. Klopp has helped Liverpool win every single trophy at club level apart from the UEFA Europa League. Anybody replacing him will be under tremendous pressure, and it remains to be seen who Liverpool end up with.

Postecoglou has impressed in the Premier League this season. But a move to Liverpool seems quite unlikely. He joined Tottenham at the start of the season, and the North London outfit will not want to let him leave anytime soon. In addition, he is looking to build a formidable project at the north London club and will not want to abandon them after just a few months at the club.

The Australian is clearly focused on the job at hand, and Liverpool will need to move for other alternatives. Postecoglou is a boyhood Liverpool fan, and it will be interesting to see if that has any bearing on his decision-making in the coming months. Liverpool are yet to make an approach for him, but it is unclear whether they decide to test Tottenham’s resolve with an official proposal at the end of the season.

Ange said he also liked the Fonz , but it didn’t mean he wanted to star in Happy Days, write about something that might actually happen

    Go away!!
He is the best thing ever to happen at Spurs. Leave him alone. Come back in maybe 10 years.
