Vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold will not feature for Liverpool against West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool have made an unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign, winning four of their five league matches and drawing the other one. They will be the favourites heading into the contest against West Ham United on Sunday, and it remains to be seen whether they can grind out all three points.
The Reds will be without the services of Thiago Alcantara and Trent Alexander-Arnold heading into this contest. Thiago has recovered from his injury but is working on his match fitness. So, the Spanish international is likely to miss out against West Ham on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold is sidelined with a hamstring injury. The England international is back running on the pitch. But he is yet to begin ball work and a return is expected next week. Jurgen Klopp confirmed the development ahead of the game.
Jurgen Klopp revealed a few days ago, “He didn’t train with the team once yet and will take a little bit. It is not the worst hamstring injury, but it’s a hamstring injury, and they barely heal in two weeks. He is running already; we hope he can start ball work early next week.”
The Reds are likely to shape up in their usual 4-3-3 formation, with Alisson Becker in goal. In the absence of Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez is likely to be deployed as the right-back here. Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk will start as the central defenders, with Andrew Robertson on the left flank. The two full-backs will look to help out offensively apart from their defensive duties.
In the middle of the park, Alexis Mac Allister is likely to be deployed in the defensive midfield role and the Argentine will look to work hard defensively and keep the midfield compact. Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones are likely to add creativity and control to the side alongside him.
Darwin Nunez started in the midweek UEFA Europa League fixture against LASK. So, Cody Gakpo is likely to be handed a start up front. Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz will continue as the wingers. So, Nunez and Diogo Jota will find themselves on the bench.
Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Jones; Salah, Gakpo, Diaz
