Tottenham are looking to bring in a new manager this summer, and they are ready to make an approach for the Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou.

According to a report from Football Insider, Ance Coscieofgovfglou has now emerged as the frontrunner for the Spurs job and the Premier League side were set to make their move for him.

Postecoglou has been outstanding for the Scottish club since joining them and he has guided them to back-to-back league titles. He could prove to be an exciting addition to Tottenham.

The Premier League side have been linked with a number of managers in recent weeks, including the likes of Julian Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique, Arne Slot and Vincent Kompany. However, the London club have not been able to agree on a deal with any of them so far.

Postecoglou could be tempted to move to north London this summer and joining Spurs would be a major step up for him. The 57-year-old has proven himself at Celtic and he will be hoping to manage at a higher level now.

Tottenham have a quality squad at their disposal, and Postecoglou will fancy his chances of doing well with the north London giants. The Australian manager has an attacking approach and he could prove to be a good fit for Tottenham. The north London giants have an impressive set of attacking players at their disposal, and they need a manager who will get the best out of them.

Players like Richarlison have been largely underwhelming since joining the club, and Postecoglou will be expected to get the best out of the £60 million signing. There is no doubt that Tottenham have the bones of a very good squad and there is no reason why they cannot challenge for trophies next season with a couple of intelligent additions.

Postecoglou’s style of play has attracted a lot of praise at Celtic, and it remains to be seen whether he can execute a similar idea at Tottenham now. Appointing the Australian manager is likely to be less expensive and complicated compared to the likes of Nagelsmann. So it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can get the deal done.

Meanwhile, the north London giants are yet to bring in a director of football as well. They will need to bring in someone who can oversee the transfer business this summer and help the new manager strengthen the squad adequately. It will be interesting to see if the Eredivisie winner joins Tottenham.
