Daniel Levy is keen on having former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann at Tottenham Hotspur ahead of next season.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Tottenham Hotspur are desperate to have Julian Nagelsmann as their next boss. The London club are pushing for the services of the former Bayern Munich manager. Daniel Levy wants the German manager on their bench starting next season.

Nagelsmann had a great track record at Bayern Munich. However, things didn’t work out well for him with some of their senior players. And, the board of the German club saw no progress under him, as a result, they decided to part ways with the 35-year-old.

Meanwhile, the German manager’s team had only lost three matches out of the 37 under Nagelsmann. He managed to win 27 of those. His track record with the German giants was great and that is why he is one of the most sought-after managers at this point in time.

And, Tottenham are keen on having him in their ranks. Spurs sacked Antonio Conte a few weeks back. The Italian manager failed to end their trophy drought and on top of that, he blasted the players and the board in a press conference after a Premier League fixture.

It didn’t go down well with the board and they had no other option than to sack Conte. Post that they have been in search of a new manager. And, Nagelsmann is one of their priority options.

Levy believes the German manager could do wonders for their club. He could help them end their trophy drought. As a result, both the club and Levy are pushing for Nagelsmann. They have held further talks with the German tactician in the last few days.

However, the former Bayern Munich manager is not yet sure about the move. He wants to have clarity on what kind of powers he will have in terms of player transfers as well as who the new managing director of football will be.

Further talks are expected to be carried out. And, Nagelsmann will take his time before making any decision. Meanwhile, Spurs will keep pushing for him. As a result, it will be interesting to see if they manage to land the German manager at the club.
