Manchester United are reportedly out of the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Real Madrid and Liverpool.
According to reputed German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United will not have a chance to sign Jude Bellingham. Real Madrid and Liverpool are also interested in the English midfielder. And Borussia Dortmund will demand €150 million to part ways with the teenage prodigy.
Jude Bellingham has been the talk of the transfer market since he broke out at Birmingham City. The 19-year-old was already breaking records in his homeland aged 16. And he has gone from strength to strength since joining Borussia Dortmund over two years ago.
The English international is enjoying a solid 2022/23 season, amassing nine goals and three assists in 22 appearances. And Bellingham is currently in Qatar to represent the Three Lions at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile, his performances have captured the attention of Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
Real Madrid will need to lay down a succession plan for Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. And Jude Bellingham has emerged as a viable target for Los Blancos to succeed the ageing midfield duo. And recent reports have tipped Real Madrid to be in the pole position to sign the Englishman.

As for Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp is keen on revamping the midfield unit amid the advancing years of Jordan Henderson and James Milner. In addition, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita are set to leave Liverpool as free agents next summer. The Reds have thus been in touch with Bellingham’s representatives to seek a possible deal worth €150 million.
Meanwhile, Manchester United bolstered the midfield department this past summer by signing Casemiro and Christian Eriksen. But the Red Devils want to continue reinforcing the unit by signing Bellingham. However, Manchester United will not be in the running to sign the 19-year-old, as per Florian Plettenberg.
Suitors will need to pay €150 million to sign the English international. And Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Manchester City lead the race to secure his services next summer. It will be interesting to see if Borussia Dortmund can recoup €150 million for Bellingham.
