Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka will return to the Arsenal lineup for the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta will recall his Premier League regulars for the trip to the Molineux and likely name an unchanged lineup from the victory over Chelsea. The Arsenal boss will make as many as ten changes from the midweek loss to Brighton. William Saliba should be the only player to retain his place.

Arteta’s pre-match press conference focused on Arsenal’s three England internationals, specifically Ben White. On the defender’s inclusion, the manager said, “All of the credit is down to what he’s done. You look at his career and how far he’s come in a very short period. It says everything about the person, the player, his ambition, and especially the consistency he’s achieved over the last few years.”

Then Arteta got quizzed on whether players remain concerned about getting injured right before the World Cup. Arteta continued, “We’ve discussed that topic before, and I always said to them, if you are thinking about an injury, it is probably going to happen.”

“I don’t know if it’s going to happen today, the next day, or the first day of your preparations for the World Cup, so get it out of your minds. You are professional athletes, and this risk is always there for you. Do your job and commit yourself to everything that you do in every action, and the risk will be less.”

Arteta does not have new injury updates on the team to face Wolves. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Emile Smith Rowe are the only injured players out of contention. Aaron Ramsdale will return in goal in place of Karl Hein, with the usual back four of Ben White, Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Oleksandr Zinchenko starting in front of him.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka will resume their midfield partnership. The Swiss international will continue playing in an advanced role. Martin Odegaard will be Arsenal’s furthest midfielder in the no. 10 position. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Martinelli will complete the attacking lineup.

Predicted Arsenal XI: Ramsdale; Ben White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
