Andrew Robertson and Darwin Nunez will return when Liverpool take on Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Liverpool were beaten by Leeds United in their last league outing against Leeds United. It remains to be seen whether the player can step and grind out a vital win against the Londoners on Sunday.

The Reds have been quite mediocre this season, and they have lost to Manchester United and Arsenal away from home. Spurs will certainly fancy their chances of getting all three points here. The home side are third in the table and Antonio Conte will want his players to close the gap to Manchester City and Arsenal with a win here.

Tottenham vs Liverpool Preview: Probable Lineups, Prediction, Tactics, Team News & Key Stats

Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that captain Jordan Henderson is back in training and will return for the game. However, James Milner has been ruled out with concussion. Meanwhile, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, Joel Matip and Arthur Melo remain long-term absentees for the Reds.

“So, Hendo, yes, he’s available,” Klopp told reporters on Friday. “He trained yesterday completely normal so should be fine. He had a little thing but serious enough to not be involved in the last game. When you go through a concussion protocol you are not available for the next game because you have to go through different stages.”

So, he (Milner) is fine but still that’s how it is [and] rightly so. We have to go to different stages and that means he is available for non-contact training on Monday and full contact training on Tuesday if everything goes well. Until then that’s what we expect because he was yesterday already good.”

Naby Keita is back in training, but he is not match fit and is expected to miss out as well. Liverpool will continue with their 4-4-2 with Alisson Becker in goal. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are expected to start as the full-backs either side of Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk.

In the midfield, Fabinho and Thiago will partner each other and will be expected to break up the Tottenham play and control the tempo of the game. They will have help from Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho are likely to be used as inverted attacking midfielders in the wide roles.

Both players will drift inside to add more numbers in the middle of the pitch. Mohamed Salah will partner Darwin Nunez in the attack.

Predicted Manchester United XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Elliott, Fabinho, Thiago, Carvalho; Salah, Nunez
