Mateo Kovacic, Raheem Sterling, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should return when Chelsea and AC Milan face off at San Siro on Tuesday.
Chelsea will aim for a double over AC Milan with a win at San Siro on Tuesday night. And Graham Potter will likely tinker with his starting lineup again this midweek. The Chelsea manager fielded a much-changed side in the win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, and he should recall some of his regulars for against AC Milan.
In the build-up to the UEFA Champions League clash, Potter delivered news of N’Golo Kante’s recent setback during his recovery from a hamstring problem through his press conference. The Chelsea boss said, “On N’Golo Kante, we are waiting on a reaction in training, and we’re waiting for the news on that.”
“It is not ideal, and certainly disappointing for both him and for us. So we have to wait and see the extent and then go from there.”
