Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among the clubs interested in securing the services of Hull City youngster Keane Lewis-Potter.

According to The Times, Tottenham Hotspur have joined a long list of clubs interested in Keane Lewis-Potter. The 20-year-old Hull City youngster has become one of the most in-demand players in the Championship, and a move to the Premier League could soon be on the horizon.

Along with Tottenham, West Ham United, Leicester City, and Southampton are the other English clubs tracking the development of Lewis-Potter,  who had initially enjoyed his breakthrough in the 2020/21 League One campaign. A winger by trade, his 13 goals and six assists played a crucial role in helping Hull City secure promotion to the Championship.

The 20-year-old’s level of performance has not dropped in the second division, with the attacker being involved in nine goals in 26 league matches this term. He has made a solid impression with his speed and trickery on the flanks, becoming one of the most prized attacking assets for the Tigers.

However, with Hull City once again battling relegation in the Championship, Lewis-Potter might soon want to take the next step in his career. Tottenham, to that end, have emerged as one of the most likely destinations, as the club looks to bolster its attacking options during the second half of the campaign.

The Lilywhites have been heavily linked with a move for Adama Traore, with Antonio Conte mainly identifying him as a potential alternative for Emerson Royal at right wing-back. Lewis-Potter is more of a fully-fledged winger who can provide cover for Son Heung-min on the left flank.

The 20-year-old may also be an excellent replacement for Steven Bergwijn. The Dutchman is facing an uncertain future at Tottenham amid interest from Newcastle United.

Tottenham, though, are facing stiff competition from West Ham United in the pursuit of Lewis-Potter. The Hull City winger will be well aware of the success of his predecessor Jarrod Bowen. Unlike Spurs, the Hammers do not have a great deal of depth in their offensive line either, potentially making them a desirable option for the 20-year-old.

However, both clubs can expect strong resistance from Hull City in their pursuit of Keane Lewis-Potter. The Tigers won’t be too thrilled with the idea of losing their star player in the middle of the season, especially when it comes at the cost of gravely impacting their hopes of survival in the Championship.
