Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City are reportedly among the clubs interested in 18-year-old Slovenian forward Benjamin Sesko.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Benjamin Sesko is starting to become a hot property in the transfer market. The 18-year-old Slovenian forward is the subject of interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Benjamin Sesko has come a long way since joining Red Bull Salzburg from NK Domzale just two years ago. While he has only recently earned his breakthrough moment at the Austrian club, the teenage prodigy is already starting to make heads turn following a strong start to the season.

In 12 appearances across all competitions, the 18-year-old, who is starting to draw comparisons to a former Salzburg powerhouse in Erling Haaland, has racked up a tally of six goals and an assist. Suffice to say, Sesko is starting to pop up on the radars of some of the biggest clubs in Europe, with Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City among the Slovenian forward’s suitors.

Real Madrid are constantly on the lookout for some of the brightest talents across the planet, with this youth-centric outlook fetching them some prodigious players like Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius Jr. and Federico Valverde, among several others, in recent times. And Sesko fits right in with the same thought process, especially at a time when Real Madrid are scouring for a long-term successor for Karim Benzema.

As for Liverpool, there are suggestions that they are starting to lay down the groundwork in their succession plan for current first-choice trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. Firmino, in particular, has shown signs of decline, which is why Liverpool have been eyeing central strikers lately, including Sesko’s Salzburg teammate Karim Adeyemi.

Finally, Manchester City could be hot on the trails of Sesko owing to the fact that they failed to sign Harry Kane in the summer transfer window. With a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero still not onboard at the Etihad, it is understandable why a player like Sesko is being eyed, as he could be moulded in the image of Pep Guardiola, especially if Kane and Haaland are beyond their means.

Apart from Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City, Bayern Munich also have their sights set on the 18-year-old, whose star is ascending rapidly. With a potential four-way battle setting up for him, it remains to be seen if the Slovenian forward is the next prodigious talent to depart Red Bull Salzburg for a big club.
