The Italian side are willing to sell their player if a reasonable offer arrives, and Everton could be a destination for the Copa America winner.
The transfer market is set for an explosive climax as clubs lineup late moves for desired players. As the money starts rolling in from big clubs, more transfers could conclude, although the time remaining in the market could prove crucial. Everton are only the latest in the line of admirers for Correa. The Argentine wanted a move to a big club like Barcelona or PSG, although no offers were forthcoming. The idea of seeking a new challenge could tempt him to join a club such as Everton who are not particularly a European powerhouse.

It has been claimed that Correa could still be waiting on offers from big clubs, and this saga has all the hallmarks of a deadline day deal.
Everton are pushing despite knowing the 27-year-old’s desire is to play elsewhere. They are prepared to invest considerably to acquire him. The Toffees are reportedly prepared to offer €25 million, although Lazio would likely seek €30 million at least after lowering their initial €40 million asking price.
