Christian Pulisic is set to return to the starting lineup in place of Mason Mount when Chelsea welcome Wolves to Stamford Bridge.
There will be a lot at stake for both the hosts and the visitors when Chelsea host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Stamford Bridge for the final game of the Premier League season. The Blues need no more than a point to secure their Champions League spot while Wolves will be fighting for a place in the Europa League for a second successive season.

However, during his pre-match press conference, Frank Lampard insisted that his team will not be playing for a draw, and will continue to push for the best possible result.
“No, we will approach the game to win it. There is no other way to approach a game of football. We will do that, prepare right, respect our opponent,” the Chelsea boss said, before adding, “They are very good, we have seen that all season, we are aware of the situation but we will try to win.”
After a anti-climactic finish against Liverpool earlier this week week, Chelsea could be boosted by the return of N’Golo Kante. Lampard was quick to address his situation as well, saying, “There is a possibility he will feature. He has trained for the first time towards a match pace this morning, so it’s a decision I’ll have to make, talking with him and the medical team, to see if he’s ready to start.”
The World Cup winner, though, might not be fit enough to start for Chelsea against Wolves, so we expect the double pivot of Jorginho and Matteo Kovacic to continue, as Chelsea lineup in a 3-4-3 formation once again. The duo will be flanked by Marcos Alonso on the left and Reece James on the right.
The three-man central defensive unit will feature Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and captain Cesar Azpilicueta. As for the goalkeeper, Lampard said he was “not bothered by others’ opinions on his players” when asked about Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has been suspect for quite a few weeks now. The Spaniard, though, to retain his spot in the Chelsea goal for the last game of the season.
Christian Pulisic did not start the game against Liverpool because of a knock, but is expected to take to the pitch against Wolves. Pulisic will come in for Mason Mount on the left side oft he Chelsea attack and will be aided by Willian on the right flank. Oliver Giroud will lead the line for the Blues.
Predicted Chelsea XI: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Willian, Giroud, Pulisic
