PSG are reportedly ready to splash €210 million to sign Real Madrid trio Gareth Bale, Isco and Toni Kroos in the summer.
According to a report by French publication Le Parisien, three Real Madrid players could make their way to PSG in the summer transfer window, with the Ligue 1 champions keen on raiding Los Blancos for the three superstars. The entire operation would cost PSG €210 million.
The tumultuous 2018-19 season is nearly over for Real Madrid and with the summer transfer window not too far away, deals can begin to be formulated. In addition to zeroing in on the ideal signings, the squad overhaul would also see a number of players being offloaded.
Thus, the interest of several clubs across Europe ought to be piqued. One such club are PSG, who will also use the summer window to bolster their squad so as to mount a better challenge in the Champions League, where they have faltered season after season. The priority for Les Parisiens seems to be Toni Kroos.
The German playmaker has been a stalwart in midfield for Real Madrid for several years now, playing a pivotal role in their Champions League domination under Zinedine Zidane. But, the current campaign has been one to forget for Kroos, who has regressed remarkably and he could be up for sale in the summer, as per recent reports.
PSG look set to reinforce their midfield this summer by signing Ander Herrera. But, while the Spaniard would add tenacity, the PSG midfield would still be bereft of creative nous, something that Kroos can provide. His Real Madrid teammate Isco though, seems like an interesting target.
The report suggests that Isco is being eyed as a replacement for Julian Draxler, who could be on his way out of Parc des Princes this summer. Finally, PSG have also turned their attention towards Bale, who might just be the first player out the Real Madrid exit door this summer.
Recent claims though, have suggested that a return to the Premier League could be on the cards for the Welshman. But, PSG are keen on securing the services of the beleaguered superstar, who they see as a possible replacement for Edinson Cavani, who might be leaving the club after the end of the season.
As per Le Parisien, Real Madrid value Kroos at €80 million and Bale at €70 million, while Isco has a €60 million price tag on his head. The triple raid though, seems more like a fantasy than an operation that can be executed successfully, especially with Isco enjoying a more regular role under Zidane.
While moves for Bale and Kroos could still be possible considering their falling stature, it remains to be seen if Isco too is placed on the transfer list by Real Madrid. But, if the report indeed turns out to be true, Los Blancos can brace themselves to receive bids from PSG for their three superstars that would total to €210 million.
