Manchester United have received a quadruple injury boost ahead of their clash against Arsenal, with Anthony Martial among players in contention to return.

Confidence and morale is high in the Manchester United camp as the Red Devils prepare to visit Emirates to take on Arsenal in a crucial clash as far as the race for top four is concerned. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have received further positive news, with a quadruple injury boost ahead of the Arsenal match.

David de Gea will be the one guarding United’s goal on Sunday. The defence in front of him should remain the same from last weekend as well, with Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof cementing their partnership in the centre. Luke Shaw and Ashley Young should reprise their roles on the flanks.

But, Eric Bailly is also available, should Solskjaer want to surprise his counterpart Unai Emery with his team selection. Manchester United could have all of their first-choice midfielders be available for the Arsenal clash. Paul Pogba returns after missing the Champions League tie against PSG due to suspension, which saw him miss the historic night in Paris.

But, Solskjaer had positive news regarding Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic, stating that either or perhaps, both could be available for selection on Sunday. Still, we expect Pogba to be the only one starting, with Fred and Scott McTominay in good form.

The manager also provided positive news regarding Anthony Martial in his pre-match conference, with the Frenchman fit to be selected against Arsenal.

“Eric’s fine. Anthony will be available and, hopefully, we’ll have Nemanja and/or Ander ready as well, so we’re looking better for it. They just need to have another couple of days’ training with the team. They’ve done well in their recovery work.”

“Paul was over there training with us and in the dressing room and the meetings, so he wanted to be a part of that game. It’s great that he had a couple of days off after Southampton, so it was the least he could do!”

Despite Martial being available, we could see Andreas Pereira reprise his role as the number 10, right behind the strike partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford.
