Real Madrid are reportedly ready to go all out to sign Eden Hazard, and are ready to include Gareth Bale in the deal to land the Chelsea superstar.

It won’t come as a big surprise to Chelsea fans if Eden Hazard ends up joining Real Madrid next summer, for the attacker, has been linked with a switch to the La Liga giants for many months now. However, what looks like a sweetener, as per a report from The Sun, which claims that Real Madrid are ready to offer Gareth Bale plus cash in order to land the Belgian.

Hazard’s desire to join Real Madrid has been out in the open, with the Belgian himself revealing that the Spanish heavyweights are his dream club. Hazard though, has maintained that he is happy at Chelsea, and would not force through a move to the European champions.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have been relentlessly offering Hazard a new £300,000-a-week deal amid Real Madrid’s growing interest, although it would be difficult to convince the player, who has his heart set on a move to sign it.

Despite the fact that Hazard was quite open about his desire for a move to Madrid after the end of last season, and all throughout the summer transfer window, Real Madrid did not exactly make him a priority signing. In the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, many expected the club to sign Hazard, although Los Blancos fruitlessly pursued moves for Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

However, Real Madrid now seem to be determined to sign Hazard after giving up on their pursuits of Neymar and Mbappe as Ronaldo’s replacement. Florentino Perez is now ready to include Gareth Bale plus cash in any potential deal for the Belgian. Bale was initially the reason Perez did not sign Hazard and retained faith in the Welshman to emulate Ronaldo’s feats during the ongoing season.

However, despite a bright start to the post-Ronaldo era, Real Madrid have endured a tough time with results going against them, which has also put Julen Lopetegui under the microscope. These recent results have highlighted the need for that one player who could turn games around, and Hazard certainly fits the bill.

As for the reported deal itself, only the summer will tell if it’s possible to execute. It is highly doubtful that Bale will move in the other direction, given he had already rejected a move to Stamford Bridge this past summer. As for a January move, Hazard himself has categorically rejected the idea of leaving Chelsea but remains intent on fulfilling his dream of playing at the Bernabeu.
